A true bibliophile knows the value of a book and most would go to any extent to share the joy of reading. If you have a stock of abandoned old books, which once regaled you, helped you through a rough patch, or brought a smile to your face, then it is time to pass on the feeling for books play a vital role in our life. It is said that “When you open a book, you open a new world”. The statement is agreeable to everyone as books have become inevitable to mankind. For the majority of people, books are part of their everyday life. A book is like a best friend who will never walk away from you. Books are packed with knowledge, insights into a happy life, life lessons, love, fear, prayer and helpful advice. One can read about anything under the sun. After reading a book, don’t stuff them in the glass cases. Let them to crawl in many hands to fulfil its ultimate aim. With the motto to serve for the people those who are in quest for knowledge, the books are donated in the form of a palatial library.
People have shelves filled with books that they have already read and are not likely to use in the future, there is no reason to let them sit there and gather dust. Once they are finished with a book, it can certainly be put to good use by a generous organization. In this perspective, Book Donors Club has been initiated in our College. Making this type of donation is a great way to provide support to a charitable cause that is out of pocket expense. Generosity of the Donor can have a positive impact on the receiver. Thus, our students donate books to enrich the village schools and its libraries.
