About the Department

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion was started during the year 2005.  Many Fashion Shows, Designer Contest, Cultural Events, Guest Lectures and Seminars were conducted by the Department to update the skill and knowledge of the students.

A pass in HSC / +2 ( any group )

Lab Facilities

Well – equipped ultra modern laboratories for sewing, dyeing, printing and for Computer Aided Designing latest configured computers are offered in our College. The laboratory is kept open for the students till 6.00 pm. The computer laboratory is equipped with imported Intel 2 GB RAM work station with land server, Net server. Internet connection through very high speed 4 MB radio frequency is operating round the clock, within the college premises to help the students and staff to acquire extensive knowledge.

Department Activities

• CAD Demo Class was organized for the students.  Reach CAD Software Technology, Tirupur on 19.06.2009.
• A sketching class was conducted for Fashion Illustration by Mr.Sridhar (Kalalayam) from 23.07.2009 to 24.07.2009.
• A class related to Art Work was conducted for II year students by S.T. Designer, Erode.
• Workshop on painting was conducted for I and II year students on 29.01.2010 to 30.01.2010 by Pooja Pavani, Tirupur.
